Google Street Spy
Post do Digital Urban mostra que o Google Street View vai investir cada vez mais nos detalhes, mostrando closes de prédios e pessoas. Há protesto, mas segundo informa uma matéria que assisti agora na BBC o sistema ira desfocar os rostos. Mais um desenvolvimento que coloca em jogo o sistema de “transparência” absoluta, para o bem ou o mal, que parece cada vez mais ser a meta da sociedade contemporânea.
“(…) Our view? They are only photographing the street – which is not illegal – faces will be blurred out and it’ll be a really useful service when it launches. They are also not the first, various firms have been capturing 360 degree panoramic images for local councils for years. Although of note – a project we helped out with capturing Camden in London was removed due to complaints of peoples houses being viewable on the Internet so interesting times ahead.”
