Google Future and Fingerprints
Prever o que vai aparecer na internet amanhã ou controlar usuários pelas impressões eletrônicas digitais podem não parecer fenômenos interligados, mas são. Se pensarmos que prever o futuro e monitorar dados digitais com bancos gigantesco de informações biométricas (impressão digital, DNA, retina….) são formas de antecipação, talvez possamos ver links entre os dois fenômenos. Ambos pretendem saber o que vai acontecer “amanhã”, seja para a suposta “segurança”, seja pela curiosidade de padrões de informações. Vemos aqui como a performance digital da antecipação não apenas espera o que virá, mas o produz. Não se trata de esperar o tempo que passa mas de produzí-lo antes que algo “imprevisível” aconteça. Nada será como antes, mas podemos prever os comportamentos e assim, produzir a diferença
Gday do Google na Austrália e scanning de impressões digitais na alemanha estão aí para mostrar essa conexão:

“There was a long dicussion on finger print scans for passports in germany. Eventually the government introduced them last Autum. This is the official german passport fingerprint scanner at Berlin Mitte “Bürgeramt” administration I saw yesterday. … No, not yet. My old passport is still valid till 2009.
