“ClassifEye has developed fingerprint authentication technology which is compatible with most camera phones, to prevent identity theft. The solution does not require any additional hardware such as fingerprint sensors, USB keys and code generators, making it cost-effective and easy to deploy. A camera phone user simply downloads the ClassifEye software directly to the device. The user then takes a picture of his finger with the phone’s camera. The software authenticates the user’s fingerprint and authorises immediate access to the phone. The process takes less than a minute and eliminates the need to remember a password.
