Zoo with Node
Post do Locative Media mostra parceria entre o zoológico de Londres e Node Explore para um experiência interativa usando o dispositivo Node Explorer (um “location aware media player” (vejam a foto abaixo). Trata-se na realidade de uma exposição do Zoo em forma de jogo em realidade aumentada . Vejam a descrição:
“This autumn, the London Zoological Society (ZSL) will be partnering with location based company Node, to deliver an exciting new experience called i-Track. This brand new flagship exhibit at the Regent’s Park site will allow visitors the opportunity to use handheld “Node Explorers” to take part in an interactive adventure throughout the London Zoo.
Having hired the Explorer visitors are plunged into an interactive, mobile adventure in which one of the Zoo’s keepers has mysteriously gone missing. Using the Explorer, visitors will have access to an exclusive internal Zoo network, enabling them to complete the various special challenges and quests to discover why the keeper has disappeared from Regent’s Park.
Along the way, they’ll go behind the scenes at the London Zoo while gaining a deeper understanding of the its conservation mission. The adventure takes approximately two and a half hours and will provide even the most seasoned visitor with a brand new and exciting experience when they next visit the Zoo.(..)”
