Evento em Los Angeles, o Tofu Festival, convida jogadores munidos de PDAs e Laptops wireless a encontrarem pistas sobre tofu e a comunidade Little Tóquio. Trata-se de um jogo de no espaço urbano com tecnologias móveis digitais. O evento é organizado pela Little Tokyo Unplugged, organização que oferece serviços de internet Wi-Fi a moradores, visitantes na vizinhaça.

“On August 18-19, the 12th annual Los Angeles Tofu Festival will once again host a Little Tokyo Wi-Fi Scavenger Hunt on a free community wireless network, Little Tokyo Unplugged (www.littletokyounplugged.org). This free event will invite players
armed with Wi-Fi PDAs and laptop computers to hunt for clues at the festival and other parts of the Little Tokyo community.
This interactive game will take players throughout Little Tokyo to pick up clues about tofu and the Little Tokyo community’s culture and history. Players with top finishing times will win prizes throughout the 2-day festival. Players must supply their own wireless-enabled devices and register at the Little Tokyo Unplugged booth inside the Tofu Festival. Participation in the scavenger hunt is free for patrons of the festival. General admission to the L.A. Tofu Festival is $5 for adults, and free for seniors 60+ and children under 12.”
